Do I need to buy this also to go with the MK315D? Or is it all inclusive of what I need to install and work?

Yes, you do, I used a trollong motor male and female connector along with a extension cord to locate my charger plug on the bow of my boat, sure makes plugging to charge easy

Well, I just ordered the 315D charger. Hope its worth the money. $166 minus the $20 rebate. Didn't really pay much attention to the amp before I hit buy. 5 amp good or not so good? I guess its a mid-range!
