Seems awefully quiet around here for the crappie to be biting. Nobody wantin to talk much about catchin anything.

I got to go to grenada saturday in the cold and snow and managed to find a few. All in 3 to 4 foot of water.

I just haven't been doing much catching since last tuesday. The weekend was cold and rainy here in Dewitt Arkansas! It even sleeted on us on saturday. I was fishing from the bank because the fish shoulda been on the banks, but I guess they had moved back out with that cold front.

If the wind is out of the south you can put in at south graysport and just stay on the south bank and you shouldnt have much of a problem. Just find you a creek chanel with some cover near it and park the boat. Or just find cover in waste deep or shallower water. Just have to watch the wind direction and play it.
