Spray it with some of that bedliner stuff.

Go ahead and buy some Stainless Steel Chain and it wont rust!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah....been looking at some. Just already have a couple pieces and thought it would be cheaper just to coat it. They proud of that stainless!!!!

I bought a pail of zinc plated 3/8" of 15 feet at Harbor Freight for $25 or so. Zinc plating is supposed to prevent rust so I have heard.

Thought about that....was just hoping someone had already tried something that I know would work.

So did you buy it to use to slow your boat for trolln? Has it rusted?

Bought for trolling but havent had the chance to use it yet. I also have drift socks but want to have chains available if I need them

Yeah I have 2 socks too.....the chains are just much easier to deal with when the wind ain't to bad. Please keep me updated when you do have them out a few times.....Thanks again
