    It's listed in the owners manual. I can't remember if it's a 50 or 60.

    I just looked in the MinnKota manual....it requires a 50 amp breaker
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    Mine says 50 amp for the 101 as well.

    Dang! Just checked the book. My 55#, 12 volt takes a 60 amp.

    A 55 prolly will get run on high alot more than a 101, I guess. Got to do the wire upgrade on mine, it'll throw the breaker if you run it on rabbit for more than a few minutes.

    More heat in the 12 volt.
