    Default Tired of fishing blind

Im tired of fishing and having to try to figure out where creeks run and where undrewater structure is suppose to be without being really sure where it is. When fishing in waters with a little wind or current, its easy to get off a spot, and hard to find out where you were without the proper elctronics. Ive been getting by for years just guestamatting on the water, but I think Im ready to step my game up a little. That being said, I need a little advice on which fishfinder to go with. I know I want one that has GPS and DI. Now the only problem is that I'm on a limited budget and can't spend more than $500-600 bucks. Now I know thats chump change for some of you Big Ballers, but for a poor boy like me, thats a fortune. I need to know what brand is the best in that price range and where's the best place to purchase. I've looked at Hummingbird and Lowrance but not real sure. I know some of yall have these units, and any help with the pros and cons would be appricieated.

Call Brian at BBG Marine. Tell him what you are looking for. Best pricing around. I have been looking at the new Lowrance Elite 7. GPS, 2d and down image all in one transducer like Humminbird and 7in screen. Pricing on his web usually can be beat with a phone call. Think he may have some Birds on sale right now to.

For a man on a budget this unit would be very good and you could also get a navionics chip and only be in the whole setup for about $450
