Hay guys the water get real muddy down there what are some of you guys best jig colors?
Black or two tone black/ chartruce , black/pink, black/ ect .
So eagle1 black is your best colors in muddy water I thought that would be hard for crappie to see I thought a brighter color but I guest not. All the pro say go to a brighter color in muddy water. I guest its up too the fisherman.
in dark water, the lighter colors are harder for the fish to see. black has a good contrast against the water since it is darker. Also works for me on cloudy days.
dark water....dark colors.....clear water light or bright colors
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Dark opaque colors are easier for the fish to see because they cast a dark silouette. Crappie in muddy water can see that dark bait silouetted in the ambient light as it moves over top of him. Light colors absorb a lot of light and are harder for the fish to distinguish.
Black or red heads bl/chart,red /chart body crappie hunter jigs, its a larger body and colors stand out.
