    Default Muddy water jig colors


    Hay guys the water get real muddy down there what are some of you guys best jig colors?

    Black or two tone black/ chartruce , black/pink, black/ ect .

    So eagle1 black is your best colors in muddy water I thought that would be hard for crappie to see I thought a brighter color but I guest not. All the pro say go to a brighter color in muddy water. I guest its up too the fisherman.

    in dark water, the lighter colors are harder for the fish to see. black has a good contrast against the water since it is darker. Also works for me on cloudy days.

    dark water....dark colors.....clear water light or bright colors

    Dark opaque colors are easier for the fish to see because they cast a dark silouette. Crappie in muddy water can see that dark bait silouetted in the ambient light as it moves over top of him. Light colors absorb a lot of light and are harder for the fish to distinguish.

    Black or red heads bl/chart,red /chart body crappie hunter jigs,its a larger body and colors stand out.
