Okay , okay I heard all my life bass fishing dark for clearer water and light for muddy waters . and you know I don't know . I catch most of my fish muddy , clear in between , orange head white body with a chartreuse tail . So just get it close and they will hit .

    Glow in the dark.

The water at Okatibbee is never clear. Just different shades of cloudy. Chartreuse, orange, green, and red have been my "go to" colored heads. I believe the glow heads will do good also, just haven't tried them during jig season yet. I think chartreuse and orange will catch crappie anywhere, anytime.
