Thread: HDS Update

If you haven't already done it, Lowrance has an update for the HDS units. It's 1.1.39.44. To check your version, click Menu twice, and go to System. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click about. It's the last option on the System page list. It will tell ya if you have the latest version. The old version is 1.1.39.43 or earlier.

You can download the update on the Lowrance website with an HD card. Download the software to your desktop, right click the file, and send it to your card. Then just turn your HDS off, put the card in a slot, turn the HDS on and it will update automatically. Don't forget to remove any Navionics, or map cards.
