Because it had two I put one in live well. I have two water pumps on live well already, one pumps lake water in and one recirculation. I thought there's no such thing as too much oxygen.

Maj, I cant believe this statement of "slimey things" comes from a man that posted a picture of "snotballs on the halfshell" just the other day LOL

Would you explain how this setup of yours works please? Not sure what the big PVC "T" is for, and just how you have the water pump hooked in to the cooler? I run one of these pumps inside of a cooler with PVC pipe elbowed twice. The long section of PVC that runs horizontal at the top of the cooler has slots cut in it that spray down to make the aeration. Works great, but I have been told that it will heat up the water by having the pump inside. I don't use minnows very often, but with as much as they cost now, I want them alive when I go to use them! LOL! Thanks!

I have several of the pumps like Torches. He just put a T on the tube, put caps on the ends of the T bar,, and drilled holes in it to aerated his cooler. May have use a piece of tubing to adjust to the right height as well.

I don't like the pump inside of the cooler tho. It's generates some heat, but ice will cure that. I'd rather have my pump outside my bucket or cooler. I just bought a Frabil pump that works with batteries, 12V or 120v with an adapter. So far, so good!!!
