The most important thing I learned about the depth chart is the footage starts where the line hits the water, doesn't go by counter on reel.

I think the MS home page has the cranking bible on it. I learned how to pull cranks by reading all 145 pages. The input from the guys that do it successfully and around here. Well worth the price.

No nothing wrong. Crappie don't mind the set up. That's all that matters. Only thing I forgot to add is of course the 1' above surface touches the water well before the 6' above surface touches and that's my longest line out. Iam sure that's a factor. They may be close to exact amount of line in water versus total line out.
