Not sure of the buttons to mash but I'm sure there's a way to copy all points to the card the delete all points on the internal.

If I'm wrong, at least your internal memory will be clean so u can quit whining about it. Pfffft.

Well, after laughing so hard I thought I wud reply... When I have my card in my FF, it records all waypoints along with putting them in memory. if u delete them from memory and put the card with them on it back in the FF it will reload them into memory. Again, I use humminbird pc and keep them there and if I need some of them back in memory, I put them on the card and put it in the FF, it will load them. Sounds like 3K is a bit much anyway.

Do you also have tracks saved? They maybe using more space than way points. Will the unit read a card without having to download like it does Navionics?

Also, sounds like you have enough data to sell to Navionics so they can make better maps!

Thanks for the input.. I borrowed a card from a buddy that had Grenada Sardis Enid Butla and Tunica on it and it all dumped on internal memory... Now I gotta get me some cards to separate lakes and keep memory open..
