If you go with the shotgun for interior defense, only load it with #8 in bird loads to keep down penetration and increase hits. Modified or improved cylinder.

Last thing you want is 00 buck penetrating multiple walls in a house.

CN I dont have it anymore I sold it to my best friends mom. But I had a ruger sp101 it was the hammerless model. She carries it in her purse (and she loves it) and with it being hammerless theres no hammer to get hung up on stuff when she pulls it out should she need it,plus being hammerless it has a heavy trigger with makes it hard to accidentally cook it off. Its chambered in 357 MAG which is a powerful rd. but you can shoot 38 s&w out of it which makes it cheaper to practice with. Its heavy and built like a tank, if you shoot all 6 shots you can beat them with it. If they dont run from the sound cuz its loud. Its a stainless steel gun so you could carry it on your boat and not have to worry as much about it getting wet and rusting on you before you get home. I had an aftermarket smaller rubber grip that had grooves fof your fingers on mine. If you want I can ask my cousin which brand and model it was, he is the gun nut in the family and he ordered the grip for me. here is a link Ruger® SP101® Double-Action Revolver Models

GLOCK..law enforcement officers everywhere trust their lives to them! ...and KEL-TEC semi-autos are great conceal carry pistols. Alot of law enforcement carry the KEL-TEC on the ankle as a back-up.

    I have the GLOCK 19 in 9mm

GLOCK's website has this to say about the 19
    GLOCK 19

    The all-round talent

"The GLOCK 19 is ideal for versatile use through reduced dimensions compared with the standard pistol size.

With the proven caliber of 9x19, it has found worldwide distribution in security services.

In addition to being used as a conventional service weapon, it is suitable for concealed carry or as a backup weapon.

For instance, many of the elite pilots of the USAF for instance trust the GLOCK 19 for their efficient defense in emergency situations."

I have the KEL-TEC P-3AT .380 in olive drab color, it fits nicely in your back pocket.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: (KJV)

Well, you got the pistol, then the stamin, you see, and................

Taurus is a good mfg. Get a hammerless in 38 and forget about it. Don't go for the S&W, they sold us down the river with the Clinton gang.

Slimline Glocks are hard to beat for autos.

In either case, don't load it and forget it. Practice and get good with it. Really good. Last thing we need is you clogging up the local emergency rooms and justice system. I say, create more jobs for the coroner and funeral homes. They gotta eat too ya know.

Kitten, WB touched on a couple of things I told you a couple days ago, you got the 38 already, get the Glock 23 and be done with it. Did I mention that I have two of them?
