    Default Dear Diary

Well, had my first date with Minner today. What a gentleman. Held the door, picked up the tab and didn't seem to mind that I had greens stuck in my teeth most of the time. Still, I don't think it's gonna work out. It would seem that I'm not what he's looking for and was visibly dissappointed when he found out I couldn't fish. Apparently, he thought the banter on the board was just a big joke and that I actually could find a fish. The dissappointment in his eyes was telling. Still he tried not to let on, but I could tell.

Sigh. I know the right one is out there for me somewhere though.

PS, I thought I had Iphoneitus bad, but Minner has a terminal case, maybe even full blown Iphonyphylus - the kind Penecillin won't cure. I'm just worried I'm gonna read about a white chevy wrapped around the front of a log truck somewhere up #7 on the way to Water Valley when the paper comes out on Wednesday.

Won't happen. I'm here. Me being a safety guy, I pull over to keep y'all informed. As fer the dissapointment, yea it was there, but there may be hope. I did notice your well pressed shirt and thought to myself " self to shirt could be starched and pressed like that". I can work through the no feshin part. But the fact that he ate two large plates full of food us disturbin. That teenage figure won't last the way he way eatin. Kind of embarrasin that I had to sit there and watch him drown his sorrows with greens.

Who else do you think would have gotten it. I gave him every chance to get it. I think I even said I didn't have change and he said they could make change at the register. So I made change and he even followed me back to the table to make sure I left it. But I stood there til he started to walk off so he didn't pick it up and deposit in his pocket.
