Hello All,
Thanks in advance for all your help. I've been a bass fisherman my whole life. I never had anybody introduce me to crappie fishing so I have taken it upon myself to learn. I'm headed to Chotard this weekend and have alot of questions. Here are my top 3 with a kicker.
1. Is a spider-rig neccesary? (All my research indicates a distinct advantage for February fishing)
2. What is the most versatile crappie rig? (If you could only buy 3-4 setups what would they be?)
3. What basic baits/jigs do I need in my crappie arsenal?
4. Do I have a chance at pulling this off?
I have alot of want-to and little knowledge so I appreciate your feedback. If you see "that idiot" in a white triton this weekend have mercy on me cuz I'll be giving it hell.

Your gonna find out that crappie fishing is a lot harder than bass fishing...just sayin.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
