    said the Welfare hole looked like a boat show. bad thing is that the high pressure system is pretty much centered on top of the rez. OUCHHH. NO one catching anything right now


    Then again, he IS feshing and I'm at work

    Default NOt sure about the spillway but

    I went to Bass Pro a few minutes ago and the waters right at the top banks of the river on I-55. Went to the NOAA site and they say it's at 23.67 right now on the gauge with 15.168 CFS coming through the gates. Gonna crest Sunday afternoon at 26.5 and pretty much hold there or just a little lower for a few days. IF all this holds true then about next weekend, that parking lot will be slam packed with boats

    because people who are on crappie welfare (can't catch em anywhere else) can go there and usually catch a few. It is a failrly large area that is great for trolling jigs when you have some river current

    Wish I was there today, instead I was stuck here in Florida drawing/designing a yard for a school project Its all good though, come tomorrow I will be catching them black ones in about 4-6 FOW :D
