I'm coming to realize you boys don't know dip about boats.
If you gonna go, go big, just bust on you a Bullet 21XD with a 280 offshore and chopped mid, a Titus case and a worked Bravo prop around 32". You'd be looking at 110 mph if you had the nads to stay in the throttle. No chance of getting wet neither cause you'd only be in the water about 1/2 the time. 'Course, if you prefer that new motor smell, you could always go with a 250 Pro XS and save all the custom work. You'd still be scaring a hunnert, again, with proper manly equipment. Although, you'd have to step down all the way to a 30" wheel.
Funny thing is, that boat is 21' 10" of pure fishing machine on top of being a world class speedster. It's play heck on my do though.
