Complicated now. With the fall coming and the crank bite getting good I know I'm am gonna want my line lengths pretty close to the same so as to be running the same depth. My boat is set-up where I can fish 3 down each side and then 2 out the back if where we can fish more than 6. The way it is now my furtherest pole forward one each side has longer line out than the other two and the next is 5 or ten shorter and so on. Do the same on each side. Works well and if you get a CRAPPIE on all you have to do is raise your pole high and when he comes to the top and bring him in at the back of the boat.
Here's my question, I want to be able to run a longer line on the outside so how would it work to run 200's verses 300's on the outside? My thinking is the 200's would require more line out and I could run more baits at the desired depth.
Am I over-complicating it or am I on track?
Thanks, John

Ree's....I run two out each side at the back plus two more straight out the back for a total of 6......I run the same lenth of line out on all of them without any problems. I do have my rod lengths on the side rods where I have 4 ft. of separation between all of them. I usually run 300's unless I want to go real shallow and not have my baits so close to the back of the boat.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
