    Why??

The area is 66% black and most in the area are well below the poverty level. Do you think our court appointed president cares about them? I highly doubt it. It really bothers me to, that we have our troops fighting over seas for oil and dieing, but yet nothing is getting accomplished there and our gas prices keep going up. The day they announced he won this last election, I was so pi**ed off, I can't believe we have 60 million plus stupid Americans out there. He didn't get it done his first go around, so lets give him another chance??????????????????????? My god how stupid can people be, are they afraid of change, I was always told change is good. The thought is in the back of my mind and maybe it will happen, he needs to be removed from office somehow, anyway, and I mean anyway.

There is a rap song out there, Mosh, by Eminem, that is great, anti Bush.

    "Mosh"

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
And to the Republic for which it stands
    One nation under God
    Indivisible...
It feels so good to be back..

I scrutinize every word, memorize every line
I spit it once, refuel and re-energize and rewind
I give sight to the blind, my insight through the mind
I exercise my right to express when I feel it's time
It's just all in your mind, what you interpret it as
I say to fight, you take it as I'mma whip someone's a**
If you don't understand, don't even bother to ask
A father who has grown up with a fatherless past
Who has blown up now to rap phenomenon that has
Or at least shows no difficulty multi-task
And in juggling both perhaps mastered his craft
Slash entrepreneur who has helped launch a few more rap acts
Who's had a few obstacles thrown his way through the last half
Of his career typical manure moving past that
Mr. kisses a** crack, he's a class act
Rubber band man, yea he just snaps back

    [Chorus:]
Come along follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength
Come with me and I won't steer you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
To the light at the end of the tunnel
We gonna fight, we gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march
Through the swamp, we gonna mosh through the marsh
Take us right through the doors (c'mon)

All the people up top on the side and the middle
Come together lets all bomb and swamp just a little
Just let it gradually build from the front to the back
All you can see is a sea of people some white and some black
Don't matter what color, all that matters we gathered together
To celebrate for the same cause don't matter the weather
If it rains let it rain, yea the wetter the better
They ain't gonna stop us they can't, we stronger now more than ever
They tell us no we say yea, they tell us stop we say go
Rebel with a rebel yell, raise hell we gonna let em know
Stomp, push, shove, mush, **** Bush, until they bring our troops home (c'mon)

    [Chorus]

Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us
Mosh pits outside the oval office
    Someone's tryina tell us something,
Maybe this is god just sayin' we're responsible
    For this monster, this coward,
    That we have empowered
This is Bin Laden, look at his head noddin'
How could we allow something like this without pumping our fists
Now this is our final hour
Let me be the voice in your strength and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify the times it, and multiply by six...
Teen million people, Are equal at this high pitch
Maybe we can reach alqueda through my speech
Let the president answer a higher anarchy
Strap him with an Ak-47, let him go, fight his own war
Let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil
No more psychological warfare, to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes its all lies
The stars and stripes, they've been swiped, washed out and wiped
And replaced with his own face, Mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you know why,
Cause I told you to fight.

    [Chorus]

    And as we proceed,
To Mosh through this desert storm,
In these closing statements, if they should argue
    Let us beg to differ
As we set aside our differences
    And assemble our own army
To disarm this Weapon of Mass Destruction
That we call our President, for the present
And Mosh for the future of our next generation
    To speak and be heard
    Mr. President, Mr. Senator
    Do you guy's hear us...hear us...[laughing]

Someone has serious issues. Rap music, (if it can be called music) is just another freedom that the Troops offer there lives for. Those who think Iraq is strictly about oil haven't a clue. If we were the "War Mongers" that some proclaim, we would not have an oit problem. We would go in and take it period. Blame the lack of fuel on all the enviromental laws that were passed. Not by Democrats, not by Replublicans, but by Americans. I watched a news report just last week where this guy has been trying to build a new refinery for the last 25 years. He has gone through all the red tape and has an approval to build it. He states it will still take another 4 years to do so. I think that it total garbage.
As for drilling, we now have the technology to tap into our own resources without disturbing the nearby wildlife.
As far as Eminem, don't play it while Crappie fishing, Crappie like Country music. Sides that, someone might sink your boat for you, to put you out of your misery.
Almost every administration has made mistakes. Would you rather Bush did nothing about the 9/11 situation so Bin Laden could make his way to Indianna? While under attack, if you just sit back and do nothing, you will die. The mistake Bush made in my oppinion was to ASSUME that once the people of Iraq were liberated, they would all be so thankful and the mighty USA would look like the good guy. Our leaders had no clue that the extremists would continue killing and attacking. I think they are doing it because it's there chance to attack America because we are already there. Bush wants to secure the Iraqi goverenment and make sure things are going to be OK before we pull out. The training of these people is going to take time, this is a brand new thing to them. It is sad however, that the extremists persist in causing destruction and chaos.
They are as blind as to what they can have, as you are.

Well, some what in defense of Crappie66, thank you for taking the time to type word for word the lyrical rantings contained within rap which often times go undeciphered. Even though I do not like him, I cannot completely disagree with everything Eminem stated within his lyrics. He does make some accurate points about the state of America. His main message, which I agree with, is that we must fight to take back America from it's own corruption.

Since I am inbetween the age of knowledgable complacency(baby boomers) and radical assumptions/actions (Gen X), I realise what has been done in the past doesn't work, and has to be changed soon. But I also understand that rioting and treacherous acts will not provide the solution either. No one man or political party can be held responsible for our Nation's current state. Somehow, we must all band together, and not go quietly into the night!

I give Eminem props for standing up to be heard. At least there isn't a doubt about where HE thinks the problem originates in the USA, and what needs to be done about it! So many times we point our fingers at the cause of problems, but never offer a remedy or a viable solution to correct it. I guess I point the finger of blame at myself. I never pursued a career in polictics where "I" might have made a difference.

Polli - Latin origin meaning "Many"
Tics - Blood sucking insects that survive off of others

Put them together, and you have the rest.......of the storey! :p

    Default Choices

I chose to be stupid in 1977 when everyone I know (including all relatives) was Democratic. Right now there is as much diasaster and rampage as there was in Nixon's term. It's a large burden that I wouldn't want for myself or wish on anyone else. I believe that had the Sept. 11 tragedy happened 10 years ago, America would have tucked our tails and then opened ourselves up to all kinds of violence and mayhem. Its easy to sit up in Hollywood, do all kinds of dope, rape women, and murder others and point a crooked finger at those who you think have the responsibility for the world's problems. I know who CHOSE to stay in NO. Apart from the disabled and unable, it was people that stayed with the whole idea that it was the perfect time to go and get whatever they wanted by looting, which is what they do after EVERY hurricane in south Louisiana. It was worse than most and caught them with their pants down. I know there are good people standed down there that need help, and hope they get it soon, and I know there are a bunch of prospective rappers down there that should be left to the wiles of the sea, in my opinion, but others will be ordered to risk their lives to save each and every one of them, GOOD OR BAD!

You show your ignorance by starting out bashing rap music. I like all music, rap, r&b, rock, and even country, actually own more country cd's than any other genre. You are correct when you stated the troops fought for our right to listen to rap music or any other style for that matter. They did not fight to free other countries, we have no place over there, let them do their own thing, just like we had to. Just think of all the money and resources that would be available if your dip**** President (he isn't mine) would worry more about our homefront. You also made another idiotic comment about what was he supposed to do, what do you mean??? Last I remember Iraq as a country had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack, it was an isolated group called Alqaeda, so go get them and Bin Laden and not Sadam.

And now your idiotic president is refusing and turning away help from other countries. Is your man trying to prove some point that we can take care of it ourselves? Your pride doesn't feed you, so take the damn help if it is offered.

I am actually concerned with the state of our country, every empire has it's downfall. Look at Russia, they were once the most powerful country, now look at them. I hope to god it doesn't happen to our country.

The only way to get this country back on track is to remove your president from office. And this has nothign to do with Republican or Democrat, I am not one sided. I don't care what label they have, I look more at what they will do for us Americans.

Crappie66, I think you need to sit back and cool a little bit. Everyone needs, as my Dad would say is take a chill pill. Not everything in life is going to go the way you want it too and you must learn to deal with it. I see alot of rage on here about what's going on now and even several years ago and as we Americans have always had some kind of conflict since becoming a country but, we have always survived whatever it was. Whether we liked it or not. I am a strong believer in voicing your own opinion but like a**holes everyone has one. So, hears mine. What really gets to me is when people like Crappie66 talk about not being his President, now that really strikes a cord with me. If you feel that even though your man didn't win the election and that the man we now have in office is not your president then the best thing for you to do is find you another country to move too. I have two sons serving in the military that have both put their lives on the line for all of us to enjoy the freedoms we have today and yes they had questions on whether it was right or wrong but they both realize that our leaders are like the rest of us. They are human and make errows in decisions. By looking at Crappie66's profile (age 27 ) you have not experienced near the amount as many others on hear have. No, I didn't or have not served in the military. Yes, My grandfathers(WWII), father(Korean ) bother (Vietnam), two sons(Present) but I believe they all have done what was asked by our country whether they thought it was right or wrong. The big thing to me is we must all work together as a team. Not against each other. Team stands for (Together Everyone Accomplishes More). Quite simple don't you think?

Well, that's my two cents worth for whatever. We need to pray for all mankind and the things that are going on here in OUR GREAT NATION and around the world.
