Yesterday at Wally World lady next to me was complaining that the Asparagus came from China.

To confuse the issue more.....did you know that the rebates
checks are coming from China. YES I verified it with my accountant. Seems China lent the money to the USA as we dont have that much money

I was listening to a news program on the radio a while back, about just that subject. 60% of our broccoli comes from China
And some of their growing "practices" are highly questionable.
On a side note, when I was outfitting my new boat last summer, I had to cut some holes in the hull. The hull I said...lol So I bought this hole saw set from Wally World, Black and Decker. Had all the sizes I needed.....made in China. I needed a 1" hole for the pipe on the bilge pump to fill the livewell.
I got out the B&D 1" hole saw and looked at it. Looked kinda small. I thought maybe with the set of the teeth, it would cut a wider hole. Drilled a test hole in plywood to be sure. This was after all, the boat hull. Bilge pump pipe didn't come anywhere near to fitting though the hole. I measured it. 15/16ths" This is being generous. I mean, cmon Black and Decker.

American brands made over there, but they charge us american money.Those tax breaks for companys, that send our jobs over seas, and then import junk and conterfit merchandise, has to be looked at. why are we importing food?What the heck are those migrant workers doing now that they are not used on the farms? Construction workers. And they work cheap, but the contractor sells high. With this phony heperin, and the lead based paint on the toys, why not start fining the american companys that import that crap. Oh cant do that, it would be called frivolous.With the decline of the american dollar the pols trwell us that american products will sell better over seas, WHAT DO WE MAKE?
