    Default DST

Did everyone set their clocks back? I sure wish they would do away with DST.

These days with all the cell phones it is almost automatic. I have a few in the house to set back.

Our phones change automatically but everything in the house has to be changed plus our vehicles. I wish they would do away with DST as well. Gaining time (sleep) in fall is always better than losing it though.

Can't gain that sleep if you are working night shift on the change. Operators get mighty cranky as that extra hour takes hold. The amount of Maintenance calls go through the roof. Certainly not so bad on the spring forward end of things

Yessir I wish they’d do away with it.
I’ve been tempted to do what my GGF did - the pocket watch in his overall bib stayed on real time year round. He just refused to play along. If it weren’t for having to deal with a time clock at work, I really might do that.
