Maybe in Tennessee, but not here. Machinist getting $35-$45 an hour, $200/day per diem, etc. The young kids here are all over this, most making over $100,000/year. My grandson one of them. Some others are getting day rates at $600-$700. Unbelievable the activity. The skilled trades are not a dying breed here. This area needs skilled trade people.
Classic rock myself. Most of those folks in country music are all hats and no horses. Believe me, I've ridden a fence line growing up in west Texas many years and did it without a starched hat.
