I love fishing creeks and for the most part I’m always alone. Sometimes when out there the mind wonders in things like this possibly finding something you wish you hadn’t.

Glad all of that was found and hope it helps with the case. My mind wonders a lot too with stuff like this. There is a bridge I fish a lot and it’s a known dumping spot. Back when I was young my grandfather’s store was robbed and they found a bunch of the items in the lake thrown off the bridge. I think about that often when fishing there now.

Oh I’m sure that would definitely be an event burned in the memory no doubt. I know I’ve done my fair share of things I shouldn’t have but I’ll never understand the mind of a thief. Can’t imagine how your grandfather must’ve felt have something even small stolen makes your heart sink.

I guess I never considered magnet fishing as a thing much less hearing about. I struggle enough catching fish so I wouldn’t want to add another fishing method to my feeble brain!

Same for me I’ve never tried and don’t think I will. My desire when on the water is to catch a fish not buried metal lol
