Default That's it, nail in the coffin, small business in America is dead...USPS raised prices

I just paid $9.92 to ship a 1.1LB package to Indiana (one of the new Crappie.com mugs). This is nuts, how can a small business operate. I've not checked but under a pound stuff sent first class prolly went up too. But really, it used to be 5.95 to ship 1.1 lb Priority Mail not too long ago either, now they want ten bucks, they are nuts. Betcha Amazon ain't paying the USPS that much. They cut big deals together, and the small guy gets burned. IMHO

Please don't make this political, but someone really needs to start thinking about Small Businesses in this country. We're the backbone, and the straw is starting to break it.

Sadly with all the bloat and misuse of funds USPS still can't make it work with those prices

Price for 1st class under 4 oz. in 2005 when I started selling jigs on ebay was $.60, now it's around $4. Almost a 700% increase over that 18 year period. Ridiculous !!! Big business certainly gets all the breaks.

It is a shame how things are these days. There have been many times I have canceled buying something because shipping was more than the item.

Welcome to America. Every thing boils down to a buck! All the market will bare! I was reading for a guided hunt for moose in Alaska it cost's something like $30,000! So you go out and shoot the moose in two days and moose hunting cost's $15,000 a day! Everybody with something to sell will charge all the market will bare!

Sadly, it’s too late as inflation is here to stay. I shop with my wife at grocery stores and prices continue to rise yet fuel prices continue to drop. Who would have thought a dozen eggs would cost over $5.

Let me say this.......Not your fault they raised prices. Pass them on. In my opinion, compared to other sights, you sell stuff to cheap any way. You deserve to make some profit off the products. You just keep providing and the members will step up. Thanks Ed. "D"

If anything, the guberment should make life easier for a small business. We're the backbone of the economy. The guberment should DO OUR TAXES (or at least make it real easy), why do I have to pay an accountant "a lot" of money, they should make shipping cheaper, they should make starting a new business easier. Stop with all the paperwork. Do you know if I forget to fill out a stupid form that says I didn't pay anyone for the quarter and I do not owe the gubment anything, I get fined. Why can't they just send a reminder, particularly if I don't own them anything anyway, after all, an email cost nothing! No, they send you a fine that doubles and triples if not paid immediately. Like I've committed a felony. c'mon man, it drives me nuts!

Now please, no politics. This is not a political issue, it's a "stupid guberment" issue all sides are party to. Thank all, for understanding and not turning this into politics.
