Holy schiznic!!!!! I'm flipping through the channels and come across Expedition Bigfoot. Killing time I watch a couple minutes of it. It seems that they now believe that ol' Squatchie is not only primate, but he's also aquatic! This theory (I learned tonight) is based on the fact they are always found near water. Which brings me to the reason for the heading. One of the researchers believes that the reason no squatch bones have ever been found is we are looking in the wrong place. They believe the squatches are hiding the bones of their deceased underwater. This guy sends an underwater drone to the bottom of a lake near most of the squatchie activity, and lo and behold!!!! At the bottom of the lake is a makeshift cross stuck in the mud made from a couple of twigs and a piece of tree bark!!!!!!!! (of course, the tree bark may have just drifted down and coincidentally got hung up on it.). Squatches are Christians!!! Who woulda thunk it!!!!!!! Not only that, they now believe that ol Squatchie has the ability to cloak!!!! Which explains why at night, you can see the shadow of the squatch without actually seeing the squatch!!! ( Not sure how that works that something can be invisible and still cast a shadow. Need to brush up on my quantum physics.) And, they can sneak right up on you in the daylight so you "feel" their presence but can't see them. Not sure if you can smell them. They didn't say anything about that. Probably next episode. Man!!!! What will they think of next?!?!?!?!

Round here they call them Skunk Apes. Apparently because they stink like skunks. Ours live in the darkest of swamps and are only seen in glimpses by day and car headlights by night. Some say they throw rocks into your campsite at night, get you to give chase and then circle back around and steal your Smores and such.

I used to wonder if they existed, but now I doubt it. Too many game cameras in the woods, so one would be bound to have some good pictures by now. Could be that the CIA is confiscating the film though. They do that I hear.

I sure hope one of them aquatic things don't grab my crappie jig hiding under one of those pontoon boats. I would need a bigger boat
