Or a camp stove or a camp fire, propane burner. Those old ones were versatile

Let's keep the forum free from politics. Slab asks that we keep the forum that way. A place to fellowship and enjoy talking about fishing

I love my propane camp stove. I still use it when camping with my RV. Even though it has both and inside and outside kitchen, the clean up on the portable stove is so much easier. I always cook bacon and sausage on it when making breakfast to keep from getting grease buildup inside the camper. And, when I have friends ( either staying with me or neighboring campers) eating and we're cooking a large meal, it gives me 2 extra burners. I've actually used it at home after a storm while the power was out. Lots of the "old" stuff is very convenient and versatile. I still have my shower tent I used years before I bought the camper, and Sun Shower water bags. I've used them at home too after a storm and so has the wife. We have a large concrete patio so we can put the tent right at the backdoor to walk in and out of it without the neighbors being able to see. Boil some water on the camp stove, mix it with some cold water to the the temp right and take a nice warm shower everyday. Amazing how all this stuff comes in handy for other situations.

I have a fairly large collection of Coleman white gas lanterns and stoves with a few kerosene versions thrown in for good measure. A couple of antique Coleman gas table lamps as well

I have 2 of those aluminum pressure canners and they are worth their weight in gold.
