    Default Old or new ?

Would you get an older truck? Square body, that has been redone. Or, a new one?

Love my Silverados, but can't beat the performance of the new models.

It would depend on what I wanted it to do. Sure is hard to beat the traction control and all the features on a new one. Better gas mileage, longer engine life. A new truck will decrease in value over time where one of the old square bodies should retain or increase in value.
    Gonna be a hard choice

Agree with both of you !
The one i'm contemplating is a '79 k2500, 4x4, 4 speed manual, reg cab, long bed, with a new crate small block. The rest of truck has been gone through as well. Giving up heated seats, power mirrors\locks\windows would definitely be an adjustment!

All those above mentioned features can be added. 12 volt solutions makes the heated seat pads that go under the seat covers. I would make sure I had insurance that would pay off on the value of the truck and not what they wanted tk give me

Lol.....I have had old ones when they were new....and I have bought old ones and restored them. But I prefer to buy new and trade for new every 5 years.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
