I have done that before also. Had a duck boat wake me under a dock. Had the trolling motor on spotlock. It turned toward the dock and ramped up wide open. It was a metal roof dock so it may have lost it's gps signal. It would scratch up a fiberglass boat. This tinfoil boat not so muchHe He, better to smack a rod than smack the boat into a dock...
