    Default Texas crappie crank bait

I found this critter here in Tennessee. No way a fella could keep the boat straight pushing this thing off the Name: 20211003_131813.jpg

It had real trebles on it. I am guessing it was a display piece. Overall it was about 16 inches long.

No joke, I've seen guys on Lake Guntersville throwing baits not much smaller than that. Some of the swim baits they use are huge. The ditch pickle weekend warriors throw some outlandish stuff. I probably catch more bass on my crappie tackle than they do on their $100 bass lures.

Nothing quite like fishing the Hwy 79 bridge all night for crappie just to start seeing those umbrella rigs come flying at your boat at day break. You have to beg for a cease-fire just to motor out from under the bridge

The only things even close to free would be the ride in the squad car down town
