    Fiddler crab...sheephead love 'em.

But you better be quick, they are top notch bait stealers.

Using a garden hoe/shovel/ice chisel, barnacles are scraped from pilings, bulkheads and concrete bridge abutments to chum and start the chow WOW!! Surprisingly light-biters, even the larger 5 -10 lbrs. Old timers would warn "Set the hook before you feel the bite!" I do better with the wait a tad technique. Although incredible eats , they are more arduous on the less than perfect filet-skilled.

I enjoyed watching them move up and down the pilings biting off the barnacles. Interesting to watch them feed

They like to hang around pylons mid depth, I catch them with a number size 4 heavy duty hook on a slip float . They love baby freshwater crawfish. They have big tough scales, and are hard to clean.

Yep, a sheepshead, and yep, they love most types of crabs, including sand fleas, but I believe that particular one, needs a DentaStix dog treat or two, to clean those pearly white man-like teeth.
Check out those crusher-plates that they use to pulverize crabs and other types of shellfish.
