I don’t completely understand your post, and don’t need to. That being said, the right attorney could probably argue an attempted murder case.....
First off please don’t fill in the blank on the forum as I want to keep it clean.
Some of you know me as a pretty prayerful person and today I ask for prayers for my wife and I. Here’s why.
My wife was the target of an abhorrent assault as legally defined at a major home improvement retailer. We discontinued our relationship with this retailer due to their removal of the Thin Blue Line flag and today were forced to return there as two vinyl storm windows we purchased last year inexplicably warped and were under warranty for one more month.
While I was back checking stock for two like windows an employee we know well professionally, approached my wife and hugged and rubbed all over her. She told him emphatically to stop and he once again did it exclaiming he was going to give her the Coronavirus. Oddly enough I had spoken with him just minutes prior where he shared that their store had two employees test positive yesterday for the virus and 5 more employees were sent home.
The county the store is in has had an increase of nearly 30 cases per day for the past two weeks and the State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask mandate which my wife and I have been doing since March.
We we ended up in the hospital as my wife had the worst anxiety attack I have ever witnessed and now we are both in quarantine at home for 14 days. She is passed out on the couch as she was given a sedation shot to calm her down which has sapped her completely. Tomorrow we have to go get a test at the hospital and then again in 14 days.
Pray this is nothing more than it is today and that I refrain from using the choice language that has come from my mouth since this happened. We can’t go on our little fishing trip next week but more importantly stupidity has put us at risk as we both have pre-existing conditions.
Keep your our guard up folks cause you can’t fix stupid!
Just a long prayer request that my wife doesn’t contract COVID....and some venting.

John I’ll have both of you in my prayers. Undoubtedly you showed much more restraint than I would have in that situation.

Prayers for both of you, this is an extremely dangerous virus and some people just don't get it. I will refrain from getting political but pray that leaders will get their head out of their @@@.
I fully understand your anger, my wife is preparing for 6 weeks of radiation after 4 1/2 months of chemo and had a mastectomy in early June. I would strangle anyone that acted so irresponsibly with her.

I don't think I would be able to handle this as well as you seem to be able to do so and that is admirable. I do think I would be speaking with the store manager.
The store is at the minimum responsible for your medical bills. I do know I'd seek legal advice and try to make an example out of both the idiot who got in your wife's face and the store for being open if they did have employees test positive and did send employees home.
Hope and pray you both are ok.

You are a much better person than I am. I’d still be trying out hammers on him. Praying for you and your wife. Some people are just stupid and don’t care about other people.
