On my computer i have a edit feature and can rotate the pic before i send it or post it. You can also use microsoft paint and turn your pictures.

@@Retired2Fish, Since you tired rotating the computer with no luck.

Try this on a Windows computer, when you double click a image. It may bring up the 'Windows Photo Viewer', at the bottom next to the X, is 2 buttons for counter clock or clock wise rotation.

I can rotate the image on the computer but when I insert the image into CDC it rotates 90 degrees. It may be in the download from my phone. I am going to play with it and see if I can figure out what I need to do.
    Thanks

Have you tried taking the pictures with the top of your phone pointed to your right ?? Whenever photos are sent to C.c (from some phones) they're rotated to the left 1/4 turn. That's because the site doesn't read that photo's orientation and tries to correct it, resulting in photos that are sideways. If you've seen pics that are posted upside down, they were taken with the top of the phone pointing to the users left

I don't understand all I know about this, but this is what I've read on here. It's not happening on my phone, so I can't relate anything I've personally done to correct it, which is why I just relate what I've seen/read on here.

The images are rotating 1/4 turn to the left. I have tried rotating the images 1/4 turn to the right but that does not work either. I will try holding the phone horizontal and see if that works.
    Thanks

Just be sure to hold the phone with the top of the phone to your right (and you can test doing it that way with a new pic of any old thing ... and post it on the Test Forum to see the results)

You might also consider downloading either the Tapatalk app or the Crappie.com app and posting your pics straight off the phone. I send my phone pics to a post in the Test Forum, and if it comes out oriented correctly, I can then easily copy/paste the pic to anywhere on the site I want to post it (using my computer). I have both apps on my phone, but don't "post" messages from it because I'm a "one finger hunt/peck typist" on the phone ... but a decent speed typist on the computer keyboard.

I have the crappie.com app on my phone but have not tried to post from there. I also use the biblical typing method (seek and Yee shall find). Thanks again.

I posted a test pic using crappie.com app. The pics were oriented correctly. I will copy the pics from there to post. I have an iPhone 8 and the issue seems to be between the phone and C.C but I know I can post from the app if all else fails. I will also watch how the phone is oriented when taking a picture in the future. Thanks for everyone's input. Good fishing!
