Tried the full mask at first and had the same problems you mention with leakage, etc. The nasal pillow has been the ticket for me. Very little leakage and much more comfortable. See you at the Shindig Saturday.
I've used a RespMed vaporizer CPAP with a full mask over my nose and mouth for years. I just had another sleep study done and will have to continue using the CPAP but have gotten curious about many of the different appliances that can now be used, such as nasal pillows. What have those of you who have switched or had to recently start using? I don't mind the mask but I do get quite a bit of leakage at times as a beard wearer and the outlet ports sometimes blow into my wife's face. Since my insurance will be footing the bill, I probably have several options.
Ideas? Yes, I also know losing some weight would go a long way to helping but i have been a snorer all my life, even in my slimmer days.

Just get up and "gofishin". The fish are waiting!
I use the full mask and like you I experience the same problems. I cannot use the nasal mask as I have problems breathing through my nose. So I am stuck with the full mask. I took the vaporizer part off mine as I felt like I was drowning in it. I think I got a nose thing here and if you send me your address I will send it to you. Don
My wife uses the nasal pillow suits her great no more leakage . But it does vent out the top.
