We stopped by Lowe's yesterday to price out some new bathroom fixtures for our lake house. Some woman was gabbing to the salesman about soccer and just wouldn't shut up. After a few minutes of soccer gap, I managed to squeeze off a silent toot. It didn't take long to rid the soccer yacker.

No problem, that works faster than the silent type. Course it might run the salesman off too.

70 years ago or more a young fellow my grandfather grew up with was at the Neshoba County Fair with 2 young ladies, walking down the Midway he found himself in a bad situation, he had held it as long as he could. Giving in to the pressure he eased out a silent bomb, the girls smelled it and turned to look at each other, he emediately put his arms around them both and started walking saying, " If you both keep your mouths shut I will never know which one done it!!!"
