    the General Motors/US Government relationship?

New Chevy Colorado looks nice but not if the Government has anything to do with it>

Nice looking truck. I "built" one on line like my Honda. Over $39K and that is without butt warmer. Honda coming out with a new design in 2016. I am waiting.

My Silverado and Tahoe both are 2008 LTZ's. Same year model and with in 2000 miles of each other. Both started using oil this summer. Chevy bullitin sez it is "acceptable" for them to use 1 quart of oil every 2000 miles when they approach 100,000 miles. We are talking about over $100,000 worth of vehicles. Acceptable to who? DP

Just turned 90,000 miles on my '96 Dodge Ram. Hasn't used a drop of oil yet. I didn't become my daily driver until a couple years ago when the Jeep became not-so-streetable.

I was always a Chevy man when the government bailed them out I bought a ford f150. Ford did not take my tax $ so I'll buy from them. Funny thing is I like my ford better than any Chevy I ever had. the eco. Boots engine will out pull any 350 I've had.

I am not ready to buy yet. But, I will shop Ford first for the same reason. when I bought the Tahoe in 08, I got an email from the pres of GM asking me to write a letter to my congressman to support the bailout. Instead, I replied to him and told him if he split his salary for a couple of years I was pretty sure I could help him bail himself out. DP

Yep, 185K on mine and still not a drop.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
