I have a 20 years old son who I raised to fish and hunt now that he has a pretty good job and a little money he has taken over my crappie fishing boat He thinks its a bass boat .I love for him to fish but ever time i get a chance to go crappie fishing i have to round up the pole holders net all my little jigs that just cann't be in a bass boat.Last week alone he fished a tournement on Tuesday nite ,practiced Wendsday nite ,another tourny Thursday nite and Friday nite Then a 6 to 12 tourney Saturday morning then to finish off the week a 6 to 3'30 am touney saturday nite. Is this too much fishing ?? But I raised him He always catches a few fish and seems to have a great time But Dads at home waiting to go crappie fishing I can see it now someone is fixing to get a new boat!!!!

Yes I think you trained him to much, maybe he'll let you go with him several times. But on the bright side you don't have to go to no drug house and retrieve him, so I'm saying great work you done. I bet a lot of parents would love to have your problem. Thats why I make sure my little ones go with me everytime. Great job and good luck bank fishing

Yessir you are a good dad. He'll get a boat before long with some encourgement. He just needs to put your stuff back

i'm with boatman44, thats why we bought a swimming pool and let the youngons hang out over here, its better for those knotheads to tear up over here than on the street. And plenty gets tore up.

A good example. I just bought a 12 foot Signature series Wally Marshall trolling pole. It was still wrapped with the bandades. The upper part was off with a stuffed mouse tied on so they could play with the cat. I thought ..dayum.. I'll be glad when they get married so I can go over to their house and play with their stuff.....

You are fortunate!!! I would give my boy two boats if he would act right towards society.

You are lucky that he fishes a lot. Maybe too much but you do not have to worry about all the trouble kids are getting into today. Be thankful which I am sure you are. Maybe a boat is in store for you or him eventually. Could he be a little more respectful for your fishing gear. probably.
