As a popular radio show i listen to asks in their skits, "How's that working for ya?" 1.6 million jobs lost in 4 years. Wal-Mart is 13% of the total importer of goods from China. HMMMM, I'm screwed. When was the last time the "Nightly News", whichever station it is actually announced the trade deficit. The mom and pop stores are screwed also as Wal-Mart gobbles up all the land and business they can. Sorry to vent, Wal-Mart pisses me off. Use to be proudly made in the U.S.A., now rolling back prices. Well hell, pay 8 year old girls to make clothes at 32 cents an hour and i guess you can roll back prices. I am done. Sorry

We will meet one day, don't worry. I don't know if you remember my post back in the summer, but after my first trip with Jerry Blake i took my wife to Nawlins. She had never been there , but i spent the whole summer of 84 in Hammond, so i had been several times. She had never heard of coonasses but she met one because we went down to Lafitte and took a swamp tour. The captain was 100% coonass. She really got her eyes opened with the "attractions and sights" on Bourbon Street. The funny thing is, i got a bunch of beads because i threatened to flash people and they would throw them to me for not doing it. LOL. Take care.

    Default My two cents

Wow, aren't we touchy over our politics. It has been a few days since I've been here. To my way of thinking, it is not about Democrat and Republican anymore, It is about conservatism and liberalism, especially in this election. I voted for our military men, the last I heard our men and women in uniform supported Bush by 78%. I voted for my brother in law who is in Fallujah. Apparently they see something in Bush. I vote for who I think is the most moral person, John Kerry failed pathetically, any man who, or woman, who would vote no to keep particial birth abortion legal are barbarians. Or vote no to a law protecting the child in the mother's womb is depraved. I'm sure glad my mom wasn't pro-abortion. And I can give you many other moral issues where Kerry does not pass my test. Why do we put so much faith in stupid depraved men? Our only hope is Jesus, that to is a fact most don't like. I guess I will be banned now for saying Christs' name, being that we all have our egos set on our shoulders to be hurt

Thumbs up Do not let your fire be exstinguished!

Preach on Fishinpox!! You are just stating a lot of things and reasons why Dubya won! Others are too afraid to state and defend their opinions about these issues because of ridicule. PM me your email address. I've got something I want to pass on to you.

Haven't met a message board, chat room, blog room or site that has hurt my feelings yet. As i have stated in the past, i love this site and i come here to relax. I am not a very emotional person but i can't tell you how many times each day i laugh at posts or how much fun we have in here. I respect you opinion and have absolutely no problem with Christ being used. About sixteen years ago, before my career at Bridgestone, i was there every time the doors were open. Now, sixteen years later, i smoke like a freight train, drink, cuss(not around the children) and basically have lost touch. I still have my beliefs and that is all that matters. Some of my best memories were at church camp and related activities. Thanks for the post.

    Default My humble opinion....

I think it's obvious that all of us here are outdoor types, we all love to fish, many of us also hunt ducks, squirrel, quail, deer & elk. Sen. Kerry wants to ban guns, and I want to defend our 2nd amendment. Get this...he received a gift from someone (don't know who) of a high end semi auto shotgun, which he used to tape a clip of himself hunting birds in an attempt to get our vote. This shotgun was the same genre as the type he tried to ban as a member of PETA. Check his record, it's there. To be sure, I'm not saying that President Bush is all that we need to protect our rights and our country, but I will say he is the better choice of the two. He does fall short on economics, he's not much of an orator, needs to heed his advisors, and needs to stop his dog from eating the small fish he catches!!! :D Maybe that's the way he manages the fish in his lake, but it shouldn't be aired on National TV. In spite of all that, I'm glad he's still in office......my two cents worth.
