    Default Gas Stations

What ever happend to stop and go in and get some coffee or other things and put some air the tires. Most all gas stations are charging .75 cents for air. It is just crazy, I can remember when I was a kid and rode my bike to buds gas station and I would ask him for air and bud would fill my tire and I said thankyou and go on, bud never held his hand out and said that would be a quarter, that was unheard of. My family would get there gas from him because of the good service he provided.

It costs a lot of money to buy and maintain a good air compressor now days ....electricty costs more today as well. Years back all gas stations had a air compressor anyway to operate their grease racks etc.........now days most gas stations are like convienance stores and do not have grease racks etc......so a air compressor would be a dead expense for giving out free air.......just a changing of the times.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

When they work you can hardly get enough air to fill a tire.
