    Thumbs up Too Funny

You guys crack me up! :D

A friend of mine has a judge...same 45/410. I really don't think it's much louder than a 357mag. Either way, can't hardly pull the trigger without going deaf!

My dad had a .22 revolver, short barrel, shot .22 mag I think....can't hardly remember exactly but, when when that thing went off it had such a sharp bark your ears would ring for a week....

Don, the little foam ear plugs are actually quite effective. But they must be put in correctly. Roll them between thumb and index finger until it is small cylinder, like 1/8 diameter. Don't worry, you cant make it too small. This cylinder must be inserted well into the ear canal. Don't worry, you won't lose it in there. Roll it up small, get ready to insert, use other hand to reach over your head and pull your ear out and back. Insert plug nice and deep. Hold it in place until it swells and fills the canal. When it is right, you will know it. Until you get used to it, it will feel like you have a head cold. Stuffy and about all you can hear is yourself breath.

Handguns are just about the worst offender. Foam plugs in, and then ear muffs over top will help.

Man you talk about being safe, that is like having a vasectomy AND using a condom at the same time. I don't think DonG has to be that safe, but I could be wrong. What do ya think Mr DonG hehe sorry couldn't resist EB
