Guns, shooting and fishing have been my passion for about all of my 57 years, so I know a little about these subjects. Bullets from any quality made gun do not tumble when they leave the bore. Anybody who can't hit the broad side of a barn doe's not need a handgun of any kind. Maby even a playing card at 15FT. Anybody has to close their eyes when they shoot maby just need to call 911 in an emergency. Just my two cents worth.

I said I couldn't hit anything with the Judge, but with any of mine at 15 yards I can just about stack them.
With my rifles at 100 yards I can hole a 6 to 8" pattern not bad for an old man that can't see.
You must have not ever shot a Judge????

Let's get back to the Muffs. I prefer muffs over others. Some places have an area where one must dive for the muffs that might be in a bargain barrel. This is known as "Muff Diving". When looking for a good muff, try to get one that hasn't been on the rack too long. The newer the muff, the better. An older muff may be just fine, but being used, it could have been around a big head. That causes that particular muff to not be as good because it can be stretched too much, as compared to a newer, tighter muff. Remember, the tighter a muff is around your head, the better it is. So when shopping muffs, please select one that fits you best.
If you cannot locate the proper muff for you, I suggest you take Billbobs advice.

These are similar in style to the ones I picked up at the local hardware store I use while running the leaf blower or the table saw. Previously I never thought they worked very well until I started lubing them up with saliva before inserting them in the ear canal. I was able to get a very good seal on them by turning them as they were being inserted.

You must not be familiar with a .45 long Colt and a 2 or 3" bore then!!!

You should really familiarize yourself with this weapon... it is for very close quarters combat only!!!
