My better o9 finds !!!

I used to spend a lot of time looking for those, not so much anymore but last month after a big rain washed a bunch of rock and gravel into my yard I found this:

A guy that I work with told me he likes to hunt for them because the last person that touched that peace was really free.........

Your friend is right there. I also like the thought that you're the first to touch it in 200- 1200 years and also wonder what all was killed or field dressed with it too.

Where do you find these? Farmer's fields, creek banks, or what? Really cool collection....

woodduck, I found these in both farm fields and creeks. I don't dig for them they are all surface finds.

That is a nice collection.. when I was alot younger, I had a friend that used to find them all the time, but they weren't surface finds, he would find mounds along the rivers and bayous, and dig them. I was told that back in the day the tribes would build their teepee's on the hills to avoid high water and they would make their weapons inside the teepees. Maybe one of these days I may check out that theory.
