I Have Never Found Any Product That Kills Like Manufacturer Claims,, I Have To Spray At Least Once A Month To Kill All The Grasses That Grows In My Chat Rock Area With Is Large... Roundup Has A Product That Has 72% Of The Killing Agent And That Doesn't Do It Either But It's Pretty Good.

I used Ortho All Season a couple of years ago - never again. Killed weeds and they came back about 6 weeks later.

those werent the same weeds, they were new ones from seeds that were still germinating in the soil.............Ortho and Round Up are "contact" killers, not a ground clearing herbicide

Round up is a "kill everything" chemical. For weeds in my grass I use
2-4-D with a couple drops of dish soap. The soap acts like a tackifier (sp) letting the 2-4-D stick to the leaf. (Clover is a waxey leaf) If you buy TRI MECH it has a tackifier in it and is more $$$ than 2-4-D. 2-4-D will kill flowers new shrubs etc.
Most people make the mistake of mixing to much killer in water. All this does is burn the leaves off and not killing the roots which will let weeds come back.

Glyphosate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Roundup is Glyphosate and since patents last only so long. You can now buy generic Glyphosate at most co ops for about 90.00 for 2.5 gallons of consentrate. Mix about 2 oz per gallon and add a little dish soap (surfacant) to help stick . This is what I spray my drive ways, fwence rows, and even my garden in early spring a couple weeks before planting to kill off growing weeds before tilling.
