Geeez, you guys!!! I am originally from Illinois, now Wisconsin and lived for a while in Florida. Everywhere I go there are people! Some great ones and some not so great ones. But, people, lets get past the slams and digs againest each other. The civil war was more than a hundred years ago.
I had people that lost their life on both sides. Nobody wins in a war.
I have to say some of the nicest people I ever met were from the south.
One of the great things about this country is that we are all free to choose
whatever religion, and lifestyle we want no matter where ya live. So come on
guys, make nice and get back to Crappies and fishing, after all that's why we are here!!

not really. the confederate flag was the flag of the confederacy who wished to secede from the united states due to the slavery being made illegal. i know some people say it represents there heritage and what not but slavery isnt something anyone should be proud of and if you believe in the confederate flag then you believe in slavery. it would be the same if i flew a nazi flag if i was german, im sure that wouldnt be accepted by alot of people.

i have no issues with southern people but if your gonna support a flag that embraces enslaving another race of people then you cant say that your not racist. You cant say you love black people while wanting them to be enslaved with no rights.
