I've been reading this thread but keeping silent. I would now like to make these observations. #1. The Bush election over Gore was legitimate even by the most liberal counts. The New York Times and CNN conducted their own recounts long after the election was decided and there was no senerio could be found where Gore beat Bush in Florida. Believe me, they tried every way possible. Gore lost his home state of Tennessee and that cost him the presidency. Florida would have been irrelivant. #2 The deficeit in O's first year in office is 4 times higher than any previous president. The left was having tantrums over a 600 billion deficeit under Bush however they vote for 3 trillion now. Hypocrits! #3 TOUCHE WHISKERS!!! on the contrary, If Obama were a Christian caucasion, he would have never been nominated due to his lack of experience.

I'm proud to say that im born and raised from the great state of Tennessee and that i took part in defeating Al Gore in that election. How embarressing to lose your own state. We saw the socialist agenda coming. The kicker was gun rights and that is what cost him the great state of Tennessee votes. YOu may have noticed that the Dems stayed way away of the gun rights issue in the last election. Watch the UN on this one however.

EB, I'd like to ask your honest opinion on this question. Your Senator held out his support of the bill due to the abortion contents. In the end he sold his vote for a special Medicare deal for Nebraska residents only. The Democratic senate bribed him or bought his vote, whatever you want to call it. Do you think this is the way our govt should be run? Well it's partisan politics on both sides, but I think some in office are in for a rude awakening when they come up for reelection. the biggest crime is that even when they lose, they still walk away with a sweet retirement. Mean while you and I are left holding the bag.
