Dick is a killer. He advocates killing and war and was the number one voice in little "w"s ear feeding him all the crap that got us into this quagmire of a war to begin with. Dick is a bad man in my book and the fact that he talks like the penguin on batman does not help

I dont know how Rumsfeld has not caught any flack like Dick. They are two of a kind and have been good buddies in the big house for a long long time.

Crappiejohn, I may be wrong, but I believe Bin Laden was in custody and offered to Clinton, and he passed on it. Plus the ring leader of the 9/11 attack was imprisoned in Israel, and against Israel's wishes, Clinton forced them into releasing him in a prisoner swap! Check it out for truthfulness and get back to us.

you still never answered my question about whether you feel safer flying today then you did on september 12,2001 but i figured you would dodge that one.

i didnt realize you were directing specifically for me since i dont think i had even participated in this post at that point. But if you must know, I havent been on an airplane since 1988 and it was a military flight so i cant say as to wether I feel "safer" post 9/11 or not

    Default politics

I like crappie.com because I enjoy crappie fishing and can always learn something about that sport. I rarely even read the off topic forum because usually so much of it is BS written by highly opinionated, and usually, uninformed people who get most of their knowledge from equally opinionated news sources, talk shows, or their political parties propaganda. However, I do believe in freedom of speech so it doesn’t bother me and I don’t get upset by it. On this particular thread I thought I would throw my freedom of speech comments in…..based on over 42 years experience in military and government intelligence and security worldwide.

I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I consider myself an Independent.

I did not and do not like Dick Cheney.
I did not and do not like Donald Rumsfeld. He was my boss.
I liked Paul Wolfowitz even less.
    I was flying on 9/11
Only the military flew on 9/12.
I feel my children and grandchildren are less safe flying now.
I feel this nation is less safe now than during Bush’s presidency.

my two cents. have at it. I will not respond.

First time on this thing, and thanks to you all for your outspokeness and candor...true American traits, and citzens have been quiet for too long. Oh you can bet we are being monitored and I hope like h**l they are.
I'm not pullin any punches with these power hungry agenda driven idiots who want to run everything.
#1} The secret society are the ones who send word down to the elect. You know the puppets in Washington D.C.
#2.} We are all foolin ourselves to think one party is better than another.
#3} During the Bush years {H.W.} is when Cheney and the rest of the posse colaborated to write up the new world order plans officially known as the "New American Century" with co-authors Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld, along with the CIA, and all other Fed. agencies to hold it together once implemented.
#4} Someone else knew what was coming, hence the 9-11 attacks.
#5.} This is also why Collin Powell could not be pursauded to run for Pres. too worried this thing could come unravelled. Especially after his masterfull sales pitch for war to the U.N.
#6} Saddam was toppled only after the S.S. OK'd it when they discovered his plot to dump all the cheap oil onto the market and try to de-value the Euro currency. Not to mention the U.S. dollar to follow.
#7} And who sits there watching all of this and taking a few pot shots? Israel.
#8} Also dont forget {This is not on the mainstream media covereage} The mega evengelists are permenantly camped out in Washington to give daily foriegn policy consulting to the Pres. and company! Wow.....a double standard you think?

I have no use for most politicians. They all waller together in the same pig pen.

I liked Bush (both of them). I believe he had/has true concerns about the safety of this country. Although he wasn't the brightest candle on the cake, the country's safety was a priority, not his public image.
