" Taking 4 days to respond doesn't mean anything other than he didn't speak until he knew what was going on."

Didn't have any problem about opening his mouth before engaging his brain when speaking about the police officer, college professor encounter!

You're right about that. They were out there on the line filling sandbags, protecting their property and fending for themselves . Not sitting on their butts complaining the govt isn't taking care of them.

You are dead on and im glad somebody said it. They all waited on somebody to take care of them.

As for the Bush years, i made more money, donated more money, paid more taxes (becasue of the more money i made), felt safer ( i fly several times a month) than anytime in history. All time high in stock market, unemployment at or below 5%. it was a horrible time to be an American

also was the biggest lost in stocks in american history, biggest scandals and biggest attack on american soil in history during the bush regime or did you forget that..

do you really feel less safe taking a plane now then you did on sept 12,2001?
i will call you a blatant liar if you say yes

big difference with new orleans and the midwest, you can do a descent job sandbagging a few holes in a levee compared to trying to sandbag the whole gulf of mexico at 20 feet higher then normal in 150 mph winds..no way you can compare katrina to midwest floods.

i do agree that the people still waiting for handouts are full of crap but the first few days after the hurricane i dont care who you were you needed help down there.

im not saying the current administration is doing any better but they definately arent doing worse since we havent had 3,000 americans killed on our own soil or started anymore useless wars.to clarify the war in afghanistan isnt useless but iraq was and still is.

Mary Landreiu sold out for handouts, about 300 million of them. Anyone living below sea level should move to Atlantis. Holland can't stop the sea, and neither can we (the tax payer that is). Waste of money, but Obama has set up a new money printing office in N.O. and Acorn runs it.

Funny how that bubble burst two months before the election. Maybe it was a little too close. Makes you wonder who is really running things????

Biggest scandals????? I think there have been plenty of them to go around.

I do believe that Pearl Harbor was the biggest attack but im not really sure. You are correct that it happend on his watched but the plan was developed on Clintons. Did you forget how many times we were hit under Clinton. He completey ignored the issue while they recruited and trained for years. I guess Clinton had more important thinks to worry about.

No need to call me a lier but i feel less safe now than ever becasue we are not taking care of business. We are too worried about installing total Socialism into the greatest country ever. So yes i felt safer about flying or just about anything else under Bush.

No there is not a difference!!! Both were national disasters and your complaint was the lack of response by the Fed's. The only difference was who is in charge of the Gov and the media.

I will not disagree with that but it was no better for the floods in the midwest

absolutely, taliban supported bin ladin and we were supposedly after bin ladin which we pretty much werent till about 2 weeks ago. the war in iraq was originally about weapons of mass destruction which we never found and pretty much were told werent there by the united nations inspectors. then it turned into a war against terror once we removed any semblance of government they had. i have also heard some people say it was about human rights violations cause saddam killed a few hundred people that we are trying to kill now anyway. while at the same time we had a country called north korea demonstrate nuclear weapons and threaten to use them but we were in no rush to invade them or any of the african nations where human right violations have been going on for decades. to me i see no logical reason we were ever in iraq to begin with.

    but just my opinion
