I use to work in a gun/pawn shop and we sold a TON of them. We only had one brought back and it wasn't anything to do with the gun, it was the nut that bought it. It was a clip issue...but you can flat run the ammo thru them without any problems or at least those you could....that's my 2 cents worth...

Had a 9mm and it jammed a lot. For the money, I'd say it's worth it but I wouldn't make it the gun I was reaching for if a stranger was crawling in my window.

I have a C9 and I love it. You will need to go to the Hi-Point forum and get the specs on the mag feed lips. Once I got them set no more jams that was about 1500 rounds ago. I have 3 mags only one was a problem.
My wife even likes shooting it. And at 10 yards she puts at least 8 out of 10 in the inside circle of the target.

    Question

Went to the web site, looked around and then e mailed son in law (police officer in charge of property room).
My question--Are you aware of this company. lifetime warranty. models under $100

    Hi-Point Firearms

His answer----yes, I have destroyed hundreds of them. Usually the .380 auto or 9mm pistols. They are very low end weapons, I would not own one.

I Have no personal experience with them.

Typical police officer if it's not a Glock it's not worth having, but that is just BS. The C9 9mm is as good as my Walther P99 or my Ruger P95. Myself I would not have a Glock, over priced and ulgy.

It is true that there are many jams at police ranges. The major reason for these jams is that they are shooting low power rounds called "wad cutters". I carried a glock but I qualified at the range with a 357 revolver because the glock would jam occasionally with wad cutters. I never had a jam with standard ammo.
