Which is more important proper grammar or correct spelling?

Running 'grammur' and 'chek' through Homepage | Dictionary.com won't bring up either word as spelled correctly.

I know we all have see those emails where all the words are misspelled yet the complete meaning of the email can be correctly conveyed.
