    Default Paw Paw 'Gene'


    Good morning everyone.
    It has been a long while since I have been able to post. Some of you may know that PawPaw Gene is very sick. He was a healthy, active 79 year old who got struck down in a instant by a neurological disease. It got really extreme a few nights ago, but he is doing better. Over the years my dad has come to love all of you as his family. He is the strongest, greatest man I know and we are so sad to see him in this state. He can not speak but is communicating with us through writing. He is not able to get online at this point to check into his favorite group and I know he misses it. Please says some prayers for him as he continues this journey to recover. Should anyone want to reach out and send him well wishes, please text him messages or send video messages, his cell is 985 688 8230. I know it would mean a lot to him to know so many people care and want to see him recover and get back to fishing. May GOD continue to bless you all.

    Text message sent to him. Thanks for the post here, acknowledgements online here mean nothing to him at this point (prayers, etc.). I've had his cell phone number for several years, so I reached out. Enjoyed he and Linda's visits out here at our place, lunches, etc. I mean this. My thoughts are with him. Take care.
