Going to see Tal is always a trip down Memory Lane ... Pineville was where the Crazies and Lunatics were kept ... Then go over the Red River into Alex where there was a Circle where several roads all joined at one place where you could drive round in circles and wind up going back over the river to Pineville ---- Then the air was always filled with the smell of Bread Baking --- Bunney Bread Signs were on fince Post everywhere out in the country between towns, as well as all kinds of small metal signs like Prince Albert, Bull of the Woods Chewing Tobacco ,, Baking Powder --- then there was always that Famous Sign that said VISIT ROCK CITY, and they were everywhere. The Weather channel -- I never saw Rock City in any state... Sinclair Gas with the Flying Horse, Quaker State Oil in the Green Can to name a few.
We were going to Melville, a few miles up the River from Krotz Springs. Melville was where my Daddys Family lived before they all spread over the Country. But there are still a few of them that live there.
Next time I go see Fishervet I will take my Hearing Aid
