We were without power for 4 days close to D'Arbonne. Our weather station said 45 mph winds and 5 1/4 inches of rain. I was really worried, there was a 4 ft diameter Pine that got struck by Lightening and killed it. the tree is in the neighbors yard about 30 feet from our house, and about 80 feet tall.. the wind broke almost all of the limbs during the storm and a lot were as big as my thigh. I Have a Chevy Hybred truck that has 120 volt generator built into it --- the extra heavy duty power cord for my welding Machine I kept a couple of freezers going enough for Ice Packs for my dogs Insulin,, The News said it could be 2 months getting power restored In South Louisiana... I am concerned for Fishervet. The News said there were hundreds of pets that people left behind and many had been Injured. they were Air Lifting pets to other states for medical treatment
And many communities without a water supply now. So sad!
